■What is Himeji Kurozan Leather?
It is made using Japanese black Japanese beef using the traditional Japanese techniques of tanning and lacquering. ” is a fusion of leather. Black leather, also known as the ``Black Diamond of Leather'', has a beautiful shine that looks like it is studded with countless small diamonds. It is also highly friction-resistant and is now used in martial arts tools such as the torso and chest of Kendo, and is said to have been used in the armor of generals during the Sengoku period.
This is a work of art made from two techniques: ``tanning techniques'' that bring out the charm of natural leather, and ``severe painting techniques that take advantage of the beauty of the leather's finely grained surface.''

I came across this watch when I wanted to pair my Reverso with black leather, but I didn't like the overly obvious look of alligator leather, but I also didn't want to wear it casually.
The grain is not too formal, yet the luster of the lacquer gives it just the right balance.
If I were to be greedy, I would say that if it were a little thicker it would look more luxurious.
The option to add quick release spring bars is also a plus.
It was easy to install even though I'm not used to it.

I was looking for a leather strap to match my Speedmaster Professional and purchased this product.
This was my first time replacing the strap, so I went to a number of leather strap stores, but I couldn't find anything that satisfied me. I was a little worried because I was buying it online, but I am very satisfied with this product and it is perfect.
The combination of the Speedmaster and the Kurozan is wonderful. I hope you will enjoy using it.
I paired it with a Grand Seiko manual winding watch. It has a slightly dressier look. It's supple and fits comfortably in the hand, but I think it would have been better if it was a little thicker to give it a more luxurious feel.
