"VIVIDO" is an Italian tanner "Virgillio" (Virgilio)" is a shoulder leather that has a firm and firm texture. Vivid is a vegetable tanned leather with a dye finish and a strong oil content, so the more you use it, the more it will change to a richer color and develop a natural luster. Leather is attractive because of its variation over time, so you can enjoy aging. The scratch finish on the surface has an exquisite unevenness, giving it an attractive texture.
It was made with a thickness of 2.6 mm, so it is slightly although it may feel thick, it is not too hard and is very comfortable to wear. This time, we have updated the strap for the Longines Legend Diver / 39mm.
This watch is a modern model with no worries about water resistance, accuracy, etc., but its old-fashioned look is appealing...
In order to enhance the atmosphere and make it easier to use, we have decided to change the buckle to a folding clasp.
I chose Virgilio VIVIDO Shoulder leather (Brown).
The original has a pin buckle with a buckle width of 18mm, but I obtained a 16mm buckle to match this strap and tried it on.
As a result, the narrow buckle width also works effectively (narrower buckles feel more classic), giving it a neat vintage feel (although that may be a bit of an exaggeration...)

I was looking for a slightly thicker leather strap that would rival my 67K solid '14 DATEJUST.

I personally like the quality of the leather and its moderate thickness and hardness.
I bought three colors from VIVIDO alone.
The photo shows the watch attached to a Seiko old quartz watch (38 Superior, 48 Superior). I also included the base as a set because I want to use it in the summer. The left is brown, the right is natural.
