The horse leather is manufactured by MARYAM in the Santa Croce sull'Arno region of Tuscany, Italy.
Brown core leather is used for the uppers of engineer boots and boots that bikers like. It is also often used for trucker wallets and other items that bikers like.
The more you use it, the more the surface paint gets damaged and the brown color of the base comes out, showing the aging process that is unique to brown-core leather. In order to give it a rough impression, it is left cut and has not been finished with wax or other methods.

■What is "BUTT"?
This leather is made from the densely fibrous buttocks of a horse, tanned with vegetable tannins, dyed brown as a base, and then painted with black pigment on the surface. It is vegetable tanned and made with the Vacchetta method, so it is oiled well and has a good texture and suppleness that is characteristic of horse leather. It also shows the aging process that is characteristic of brown core leather.

*Leather color and texture may vary slightly depending on the lot.

Option: Vintage processing (free)
Recreates the aging effect of heavy use!

It may be a matter of personal preference

When I picked it up I could tell straight away that it was high quality leather, but I've heard that good parts can go bad.
Its characteristics are that it is very soft and flexible, feels comfortable in the hand, and is soft enough not to put strain on the arm, making it extremely comfortable to wear. On the other hand, because it is too soft, if you wrap the band around too tightly it stretches, and the parts that put strain on the metal fittings stretch, causing the hole position to shift by about two holes. I thought I had measured the circumference of my arm accurately, but the hole position is the second from the tightest hole, and there is no room for tightening now, so I am wondering whether to widen the holes.
This is separate from the evaluation, but the leather where the belt goes through is thick so you may have to force it through quite a bit. Mine was a tight fit. The vintage finish looks cool, but it seems like it will age relatively easily, so if you wear it often it may not be best to do it.
It's very comfortable to wear, but it's too soft and I'm not sure about its durability. I recommend making the holes a little shorter, assuming it will stretch. I'm not sure if that's possible though.

Thank you for your comment. The leather of this product is relatively soft, so it is supple and fits well, but it may be a little stretchy. I hope you will enjoy wearing it with your watch.

Aging is fun

The leather is supple and fits well on the wrist.
The lug width was also adjusted to within 0.1 mm. It still looks great, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how it ages.

Thank you for your comment. Horse bat is a material that can be enjoyed as it ages, so I hope you will enjoy its various expressions.
