It was made using the American Tanner and Shell Cordovan from Horween. We currently have 6 colors available, but this one is made in Burgundy.
This is a cordovan manufactured by Horween, a tanner in Chicago, USA and registered as a trademark under the name of Shell cordvan to distinguish it from other companies. Shell cordovans are soaked with more oil than ordinary one, and are characterized by a glossy feeling that they have been used and maintained from the beginning. The shell cordovan, which is carefully manufactured over a long period of time from tanning to oil processing, has high durability and is said to be of the highest quality among cordovans. Since it is soaked with plenty of oil, it feels moist from the beginning and is a very comfortable leather to wear. As it is used, the luster will increase and it will change over time to a profound shine. It has both robustness and suppleness, it feels different from cow leather and crocodile leather, and the atmosphere when worn on a watch is also excellent, so it is a belt you should try.
