The horse leather is manufactured by MARYAM in the Santa Croce sull'Arno region of Tuscany, Italy.
Brown core leather is used for the uppers of engineer boots and boots that bikers like. It is also often used for trucker wallets and other items that bikers like.
The more you use it, the more the surface paint will be damaged and the brown color of the base will come out, showing the unique changes over time that are characteristic of brown-core leather. The hard horsehide elevates the watch.
This time I asked for a vintage treatment, which is also great.
I enjoy changing it out for different watches.
Thank you very much for your comment. It takes quite a long time to bring a piece from its normal state to the vintage processing stage, so by requesting vintage processing, you can enjoy it at an early stage according to your preference. We hope you enjoy it.
I wear it on my Seiko 45KS.
When I bought the watch, the ultra-thin crocodile leather that was supposed to match the vintage watch didn't suit me, so I was looking for something better and found this watch. When I put it on with the same color (Horween) base, the affinity between the non-polished stainless steel case and the aged horse leather was better than I expected. It matches the GS from the same era, but it goes really well with the KS black bar index and hands, so I would definitely recommend that anyone who has one try it.
I'm sure it will also match the gold case and buckle.
I'm very happy to receive your kind words. You can choose a vintage finish for the horse leather, so you can match it to your watch or your own taste. I hope you enjoy it.
