Although the color is called gray, it has a slight brownish hue, which gives it a very atmospheric look. I was looking for a strap to wear with my Tudor 54 during the winter, and I was looking for a dark brown or gray strap, so this was my favorite color. As the product description says, the scratched surface is attractive, and I'm looking forward to seeing it age. I would like to try other products, but I don't have that many watches to begin with, so I'm stuck wanting to buy more watches.

This is my second purchase after Horween Chromexcel (black).
I was planning to install it on the LACO Stuttgart Pro 37 I ordered and post a review with photos, but it didn't arrive in time from Germany. It seems to have arrived in Japan, but it's still under inspection by the distributor. What a shame.
I purchased this strap based on the reviews and the feel of the product, as it seemed to go well with the military style.
Since the leather is apparently hard, I of course attached a quick release.
It seems twice as hard as Chromexcel.
As always, there is nothing to complain about in terms of the cutting, stitching, and edge finish.
The color is gray, or more like brown. The color alone gives off the impression that it has been used for several years, which makes me feel good.
The smell is that of vegetable tanned leather. I've become addicted to sniffing it. Unfortunately, my wife has a dog's sense of smell and hates the smell of leather, but I wonder if the reason she doesn't appreciate the smell is due to differences in the brains of men and women...
I know I'll probably get told off for a while for using a pin buckle because it's considered a sign of manliness, but I'm a wimp so I chose a D buckle. I want to use it for a long time.
The photo is a paired photo with Chromexcel (black). There is no point in taking photos of them at the same time.
Next I'm thinking of getting the TEMPESTI TEXAS Bends Leather Strap (Navy) for my SEIKO retro diver, but I also think NATO would be good.
I'm currently waiting for my favorite pair, the black Horween Shell Cordovan, to be restocked, but I have a feeling I'll end up buying a few more pairs in the meantime.
